Performance Workshop with Graham Fitch
Would you like feedback on a piece you’re working on? Or input on a specific musical or technical challenge?
Celebrate Piano Day 2026 (29th March) by joining us for a special in-person performance workshop with Graham Fitch, open to intermediate and advanced pianists. This workshop offers the opportunity to perform a piece of your choice and receive direct, individual feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment.
The event takes place at Richard Lawson’s exceptional piano showroom in Amersham. Spread across three floors and over 10,000 square feet and home to more than 200 pianos, this is a venue that is a must-see in its own right for any piano lover. Perform, listen and learn surrounded by pianos in a truly unique setting!
How it works
This workshop is Graham’s take on the masterclass format, with the emphasis firmly on learning, problem-solving and pianistic development, rather than on presenting polished concert performances.
- Each participant has a 15 minute slot to to play a prepared piece (or part of a piece) of their choice and to work with Graham
- Pieces do not need to be performance-ready – new or in-progress repertoire is very welcome
- Following the performance, Graham will provide tailored feedback and practical guidance, which may focus on:
- Interpretation and musical communication
- Technical or practice-related challenges
- Performance preparation and confidence
- Specific areas, questions or issues raised by the performer

- Are there any discounts for Online Academy subscribers for in-person tickets? Due to the costs of hosting an event of this nature in central London and the limited places available, we regret we’re unable to offer discounts to Online Academy subscribers for in-person tickets. We will however give Online Academy subscribers an exclusive window to take advantage of discounted early-bird tickets.
- I would love to participate but I’m nervous about playing in front of others! Most players attending a piano course will feel nervous playing in front of the group. Graham’s approach is to recognise and respect this, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for everyone.
